Road Closed in Shepherd Hill To Ensure Safety for Motorists
The Minister of Communications and Works, Hon. Kye Rymer, has made the decision to close the road near Bouncer’s apartment in Shepherds Hill with immediate effect.
The closure set to remain in place until further notice is a precautionary measure aimed at addressing potential risks and hazards along the affected road.
To ensure uninterrupted access for affected individuals, the Public Works Department has swiftly graded an alternate road. This alternate route has been designed to offer easier and safer passage for motorists, minimizing inconvenience during the closure.
During the September 5th sitting of the House of Assembly, Hon. Marlon Penn, the representative for District 8, made a plea to the Minister of Works regarding the road condition. Authorities are urging the cooperation and understanding of residents and visitors during this period. It is vital that all individuals respect the closure and utilize the provided alternate road.
Minister Rymer emphasized the paramount importance of safety and urged all individuals to prioritize it. The closure is a proactive measure taken by the Ministry of Communications and Works to address potential risks and ensure the well-being of all motorists.
