The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is hosting the annual World Food Day Market and Food Fair today at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park, featuring local food, produce, and health services alongside entertainment and community outreach.
The event brings together farmers, fishers, and food vendors from across the Virgin Islands to promote local agriculture and sustainable food production.
Attendees can purchase local meals and fresh produce, get free health checks, and enjoy live music throughout the day. The fair is part of the Virgin Islands’ observance of World Food Day, an international event recognized each year to raise awareness about global hunger and the importance of sustainable farming practices.
The event will continue throughout the afternoon at Noel Lloyd Park.
