The British Virgin Islands will host the final 400-meter race featuring some of the territory’s fastest senior athletes on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 5:30 p.m. at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds.
Competitors J’den Jackson, Bruce Huggins, Wanyae Belle, Vadley Sylvester, Tyrese James, Jaleel Croal, Jahshani Farrington, and Adriano Gumbs will compete in what marks their last local competition before leaving for college.
The BVI Athletic Association has invited the public to attend and support the athletes during this event, which serves as a final opportunity to showcase their talents on home soil before their departure.
