The weekend kicks off November 6 at Rhythm + Sands, Cane Garden Bay with the Writers’ Welcome Reception. Attendees will have the chance to “mix and mingle with writers, sponsors, and donors, enjoy an intimate headliner conversation, and experience cultural performances by The Razor Blades.”

Let’s Talk Lit Discussions (November 6–7) expand across two full days, giving audiences the opportunity to “be part of every single conversation with local and international voices in literature, performance, music, and the arts.”

On November 7, Sunset Stories transforms Brandywine Bay into a storytelling paradise. Sponsored by VP Bank, the event promises that “acclaimed authors share readings and conversations against the backdrop of sea and sky.”

Families can dive into Literary Wonderland in Virgin Gorda (Oct 11) and Tortola (Nov 8), sparking imagination through “exciting new activities for all ages.” Aspiring writers can explore creative horizons at Writing with Writers Workshops on Nov 8, covering choreopoetry, film production, and publishing tips.

Poetry lovers can “Light a Fire” on Nov 8 at Botella, Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park, a new home for the festival’s spoken-word showcase that promises “the same fire for bold voices and unforgettable verse.”

The festival wraps up with Book Brunch on November 9, a “reinvented format where festival-goers rotate between tables for intimate chats with two featured writers at each.”
As the festival’s Facebook page notes, BVI Lit Fest 2025 is “more than a festival. It’s a celebration of voices, visions, and the dream that has carried us this far.”
