A motorscooter rider is believed to have sustained serious injuries following a collision with a taxi near Delta Gas Station at Pasea on February 27.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred after 7 pm on the eastbound lane of James Walter Francis Drive.
While details surrounding the circumstances of the collision remain unclear, the taxi driver involved stated that the motor scooter unexpectedly collided with his vehicle.
Witnesses reported observing a pool of blood at the scene, where the injured individual received initial medical attention from a female doctor before being transported by ambulance to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
