Lesmore Smith’s Ghostingyou, won the $40,000 St. Thomas USVI Governor’s Cup at the Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack today, May 3, in 1:43.2.
This marked Smith’s fourth Cup win, having previously won in 2011, 2012, and 2016.
The victory was significant as it was the first horse race at the Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack since hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017.
