The British Virgin Islands added to its medal tally at the Junior CASA 2025 squash championships with a silver in the Boys Doubles and a gold in the Under-13 Girls division. Brothers Oli and Danny Henderson earned silver after advancing to the final in their category, while Delilah Pease captured gold earlier in the tournament with a strong performance in her division.
The Henderson brothers moved through the doubles draw with a series of convincing wins. In the quarterfinals, they defeated Jamaica’s Cole Brown and Max Henzell 11–0, 11–2. They continued their form in the semifinals, beating Bermuda’s Andrew Cox and Ethan Rosorea 11–4, 11–6 to reach the gold medal match.
In the final, they faced Trinidad and Tobago’s Anthony Allum and Seth Thong. After falling 6–11 in the first game, the BVI pair pushed the second to a tight finish, but lost 10–11 on a sudden-death point, finishing the tournament with the silver medal. The result marked Danny Henderson’s second medal at the event, following his earlier bronze in the Under-19 Singles division.
Team BVI also recorded a solid start in the team competition on Day 1 with a 4–2 win over Barbados. Toby Evans won a five-game match against Thierry Padmore, Daniel Henderson posted a straight-game win over Dominic Wilson, and Jakob Noblett was awarded his match after Daniel Sealy retired due to injury. Oliver Henderson also won his match in four games against Luke Wilson. Despite losses by Ashton Starkey and Ethan Mohamed, the team secured the overall win.
National Squash Coach Adam Murrills, reporting from the Cayman Islands, confirmed that the tournament continues with more events ahead as Team BVI competes among the region’s best junior squash players.
