Sylvanna Charles, a British Virgin Islands contestant in the Miss Voluptuous Pageant, is competing for the Elevate Scholarship Award and is asking the public for votes to support her bid, according to the pageant’s website.
The Elevate Scholarship Award offers three cash prizes to assist recipients with personal and professional development. A portion of each vote, priced at £1, goes to the MVP Impact Fund, which supports growth, leadership and advocacy initiatives for women worldwide.

“I’m competing for the Elevate Scholarship Award with Miss Voluptuous, and your votes can help me get there,” Charles said in a public appeal. “Each vote supports real-life opportunities for women like me through the MVP Impact Fund.”
The Miss Voluptuous Pageant promotes body positivity and empowerment for women globally. Voting remains open on the official website; the pageant has not announced a closing date for this year’s scholarship competition.
