Olivia Freeman, Contestant No. 4, won the Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2025 pageant on Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.
Freeman made a clean sweep of the competition, capturing all individual awards — Miss Photogenic, Miss Popularity, Best Swimwear, Best Evening, and Best Intellect — before securing the crown. Her platform, “Bridging the Generational Gap Through Cultural Creativity & Innovation,” will guide her work during her reign.
Kimberly Herbert, Contestant No. 2, was named first runner-up. Rebeka Josil, Contestant No. 1, and Rhonda Victor, Contestant No. 3, also competed in the event.
The new titleholder is the sister of Adorya Rocio Baly, who won the Miss British Virgin Islands pageant in 2015 and represented the territory at Miss Universe that same year.
Freeman succeeds Deyounce Lowenfield, Miss Universe BVI 2024, who concluded her year as the national representative.
The Miss Universe BVI Committee introduced the 2025 finalists on July 5 at Seven at the Pier in Tortola. The winner will go on to compete at the Miss Universe international pageant next year.
The British Virgin Islands has participated intermittently in Miss Universe since its debut in 1976.
