Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) arrested two armed men in the early hours of Thursday following a brief foot chase in Road Town.
According to information received by JTV, police responded to a report of two individuals acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Banco Popular around 2 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officers attempted to approach the men, who then fled on foot.
The suspects were apprehended shortly after the pursuit began and taken into custody. Firearms were reportedly recovered during the arrest.
No injuries were reported. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
