The BVI Chamber of Commerce hosted the BUY BVI Trade Expo 2025 on Sept. 19–20 at the Multipurpose Sports Complex, bringing together more than 30 exhibitors from across the territory under the theme “Celebrating the Virgin Islands Entrepreneurial Spirit,” the Chamber announced Sept. 25.
Exhibitors represented sectors including food and beverage, fashion, wellness, professional services, tourism and youth entrepreneurship. The two-day event highlighted locally owned businesses and encouraged residents to support the territory’s economy.
Premier Dr. the Hon. Natalio D. Wheatley, in opening remarks, urged attendees to “Choose BVI, Buy BVI, Promote BVI, Support BVI, and Empower BVI,” emphasizing the role of local spending in sustaining families and livelihoods.
Keynote speaker Kenrick Headley Jr., founder of Nova Vita, called on entrepreneurs to embrace authenticity, creativity and resilience while building globally competitive businesses.
The Expo featured a fashion show on Sept. 20, where designers Islander Swim Collection, M-Organic and Club de Joueurs presented new collections.

The Chamber also recognized Mrs. Nelda Farrington Brydon as this year’s Chamber Hero for her long-standing contributions to business development.
Chamber Chair Shaina Smith-Archer said the Expo demonstrated the strength of local enterprise. “Entrepreneurship is alive and thriving in our Virgin Islands. This platform strengthened our economy and empowered our people,” she said.
Executive Director Dawn Leonard noted the event’s impact. “When we chose to Buy BVI, we were not just supporting businesses; we were investing in the economic future of the Virgin Islands,” she said.
Sponsors included AZP Productions and Republic Bank (gold); Smith & Associates and CIBC FirstCaribbean (silver); and Unite BVI Foundation and Jahphix Integrated Multimedia Solutions (bronze), along with other donors and partners.
The Chamber said it had already begun preparations for BUY BVI Trade Expo 2026 and encouraged early registration from businesses wishing to participate.
