JTV has confirmed that Mr. Jamal S. Smith, a prominent Attorney-At-Law, was discovered shot dead at his residence in Duffs Bottom on March 12th.
The discovery follows reports from residents who reported hearing gunshots in the area around 8 pm on March 11th.
Despite a prompt response from police and emergency medical technicians (EMT), no evidence of a shooting was initially found at the scene.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is currently conducting an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Smith’s death.
