One person is hospitalised with gunshot injuries following a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, 19 July 2025, near a nightclub in Road Town.
According to information received by JTV, police officers responding to the scene came under fire as the suspects attempted to flee. A high-speed pursuit ensued, during which the suspects allegedly discharged firearms at officers in the Duffs Bottom area.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) have not confirmed whether any officers were injured during the exchange. The suspects evaded capture and remain at large.
No arrests had been reported as of Saturday morning, July 19.
