Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) has implemented a ban on scooters within the school premises following a disturbance that occurred earlier today. In a letter addressed to parents, Principal Garraway and the administrative team provided details about the incident, explaining that it stemmed from an altercation in the students’ home community.

According to the letter, one student involved in the altercation left the campus without permission and later returned accompanied by siblings who unlawfully entered the school compound. The school promptly took action by contacting the police, who were present upon their return to prevent any further disruptions.

The letter further accused the media of publishing reports surrounding the incident that were plagued by misinformation and with videos circulating online falsely claiming the presence of active shooters on campus.
