Paul Hewlett has been confirmed as President of the National Democratic Party (NDP) after running unopposed during the party’s National Convention held on April 18.
Hewlett secured the position without challenge, as delegates finalized the party’s leadership structure.
In other key races, Marlon A. Penn was elected Chairman after defeating Mark H. Vanterpool and Ronnie W. Skelton, while Melvin Mitch Turnbull was elected Deputy Chairman, overcoming Myron V. Walwyn.
The convention brought together party delegates and supporters as the organization completed its leadership team ahead of upcoming political activities.
