Marlon A. Penn has been elected Chairman of the National Democratic Party (NDP) during its National Convention held on April 18, 2026.
Penn secured the position in a contested race against Mark H. Vanterpool and Ronnie W. Skelton, following voting among party delegates.
In other results, Melvin Mitch Turnbull was elected Deputy Chairman after defeating Myron V. Walwyn, while Paul Hewlett was confirmed as President after running unopposed.
Andrea Walters was also elected Vice President, defeating Troy Christopher.
The convention brought together delegates and supporters as the party completed its leadership structure ahead of upcoming political activities.
