Guillaume Parkins and James Ramprashad have been selected to participate in the 2026 Concacaf Advanced Referee Coaching Program at the Dallas Cup in Texas, USA, the British Virgin Islands Football Association announced.
Mr. Parkins will serve as an assistant referee and Mr. Ramprashad as a referee, representing the Territory among match officials from across the Concacaf region.
The Dallas Cup, scheduled from March 29 to April 5, is an international youth football tournament that includes teams competing in multiple age categories, including the Under-19 Super Group. The event also serves as a development platform for referees, offering match assignments alongside coaching, mentorship and evaluation.
The British Virgin Islands Football Association said the selection reflects ongoing efforts to develop officiating standards locally and provides exposure to international competition.
BVIFA President Avanell Morton said the appointments recognise the officials’ dedication and professionalism and noted that such opportunities contribute to strengthening refereeing within the Territory.
Both officials are expected to officiate multiple matches during the tournament while participating in training sessions aimed at improving performance at the regional level.
