BVI Surf Classic Set for Saturday at Josiah’s Bay

The BVI Surf Classic is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 28, at Josiah’s Bay, bringing together surfers and spectators for a community-focused beach event organized by Arawak BVI and Surf School BVI.

The event will feature surfers of various age groups and skill levels competing in multiple divisions, with activities planned throughout the day for both participants and spectators.

Organizers said the annual event is designed to foster community engagement while highlighting the Territory’s surf culture. Competitors from across the Virgin Islands and abroad are expected to take part.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day. Serves Up Beach Restaurant & Bar will be open, and a local barbecue will also be on site. Cash payments will be required for food purchases.

Pre-registration is encouraged, with same-day registration available for an additional fee. Activities are scheduled to begin at 7 a.m., with the first heat set for 8:30 a.m.

The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring beach essentials, including sunscreen and towels.
