Man Shot In Long Bush Has Died, Relatives Confirmed
The man shot in Long Bush, Tortola on Sunday evening has died, relatives have confirmed.
The 26-year-old victim was taken to Dr. Orlando Smith Hospital in Road Town for treatment following the shooting incident on September 3.
“Police can confirm a shooting last night in the Long Bush area. One male was injured and was taken to DOSH. More information will be provided as it becomes available,” a RVIPF September 4 statement said.
Investigations are ongoing.
Shootings continue to increase in the territory with both the Premier Natalio Wheatley and Governor John Rankin appealing to residents with information about unsolved cases to call the police.
