A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of burglaries in the East End area, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) announced.

Kurt Rabsatt, 39, of Old Plantation, has been charged with burglary following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Department. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on March 21 and was granted bail in the amount of $20,000.

As part of his bail conditions, Rabsatt is subject to a nightly curfew requiring him to remain at home between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Authorities have asked the public to report any sightings of him in public during curfew hours by calling 311.

His arrest is part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address the recent rise in burglary-related offenses in the district. The RVIPF continues to urge residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 800-8477.
