The Commanding Officer of the French Navy ship Dumont D’Urville made a courtesy call on the Acting Governor of the Virgin Islands, David Archer this morning, September 13, presenting a commemorative plaque and a painting of the ship.

The Dumont D’Urville, typically stationed in Martinique, is docked at Tortola Pier for the weekend as part of a routine visit to the territory. The visit underscores the longstanding ties between the French Navy and the Virgin Islands, reflecting a spirit of friendship and cooperation.
