The British Virgin Islands’ U14 National team faced a tough defeat against Dominica in a Tier II Group B match at Trinidad’s Hasely Crawford Stadium. Dominica dominated the game, securing a 3-0 victory over the BVI.

The tone was set early when Che Etienne found the back of the net in the 11th minute, slipping a precise shot past BVI’s goalkeeper, Trevon Steven. Just a minute later, Taran George added to Dominica’s lead with a perfectly placed strike into the top right corner, capitalizing on a swift break and a well-timed through-pass.

George wasn’t done yet. In the 28th minute, he scored his second goal of the match after a beautifully timed run and a pinpoint pass from Etienne, solidifying Dominica’s dominance. Although Dominica controlled possession for most of the second half, they were unable to add to their lead, thanks to a more resilient defensive effort from the BVI.

The British Virgin Islands will look to bounce back in their next match against the Turks and Caicos Islands, scheduled for today at 4 pm.
