Miss BVI 2024 Adacia Adonis to Compete in Miss Jaycees Queen Show

Newly crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2024, Adacia Adonis, will represent the territory at the Miss Jaycees Queen Show 2024.

The event, themed “Beauty Unbroken,” will take place on July 31 at 8 p.m., marking the 61st anniversary of the show. The Antigua Recreation Ground (ARG) will host eleven delegates from across the Caribbean, each competing for the prestigious crown.

She will compete against contestants representing Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Haiti, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago and the United States Virgin Islands.

The event will include various segments to showcase the delegates’ beauty, intelligence, and cultural pride, including introduction, evening wear, and talent showcases.

Since its inception in 1963, the Miss Jaycees Queen Show has grown into a significant tradition, drawing spectators from around the world and serving as a platform for young women to promote their cultures and advocate for various causes.

This year’s theme, “Beauty Unbroken,” emphasises the resilience and enduring spirit of Caribbean women. The Antigua Recreation Ground will be filled with anticipation and excitement as the delegates take the stage, offering an evening of pageantry, vibrant performances, and stunning fashion.

The event will also be broadcast live, ensuring a global audience can witness the celebration and crowning of the 2024 queen, continuing the legacy of the Miss Jaycees Queen Show.
