Burglary on Virgin Gorda: Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest of Keithroy Smith

A burglary at a villa in Virgin Gorda prompted a rapid response from local law enforcement, resulting in the arrest of a suspect. The incident occurred on the night of June 18, shortly after 9 PM.

Officers from the Virgin Gorda Police Station acted promptly upon receiving the report, leading to the apprehension of Keithroy Smith, 21, of Windy Hill, Virgin Gorda. Smith has been charged with burglary and is currently in custody, awaiting his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has reported the recovery of some of the stolen items, with ongoing efforts to locate the remaining property.

In a statement, the RVIPF emphasised the seriousness with which they approach such incidents, urging anyone with information on any crime to come forward.
