Late-Night Patrol Leads to Major Drug Bust by RVIPF Marine Unit
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Marine Unit intercepted a vessel suspected of smuggling narcotics on May 30 around 11 pm.
Upon receiving a report of a suspicious vessel, Marine Unit officers coordinated with other law enforcement agencies to locate and board the suspect vessel.
During the search, officers discovered several concealed packages believed to contain cocaine.
Three male occupants of the vessel were arrested at the scene and are currently in custody, pending further investigation.
