Thad Lettsome, representing the British Virgin Islands, has secured a spot at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, marking a historic moment as the first BVI sailor to compete at the Olympics since 1996.

Lettsome’s journey to the Olympics has been supported by the Tahesia Harrigan-Scott Elite Athlete Scholarship, a program designed to nurture promising athletes on their path to Olympic success.

Funding for Lettsome’s training and participation has been made possible through various sources, including Olympic Solidarity, PanAm Sports, and the generous contributions of private sector businesses such as CTL Home Center, DLT Solutions, Conyers, Capriccio di Mare National Bank of the Virgin Islands, The Guana Fund, Republic Bank, BDO, Scrub Island Resort, and Smiths Gore.
