Government Elevates Kedrick Malone to Lead Commission of Inquiry Implementation
In his capacity as COI Delivery Manager, Mr. Malone assumes a multifaceted role. Central to his responsibilities is ensuring the timely and comprehensive implementation of COI recommendations. He will chair COI Steering Committee meetings and oversee the newly established Implementation Unit, tasked with tracking and managing the implementation process across ministries.
Moreover, Mr. Malone’s leadership extends to fostering collaboration and coherence within the government through the Tripartite Project Groups. These groups, comprising Ministers, the Deputy Governor, Junior Ministers, and senior public officers, will collectively address policy and operational coherence, resolving issues hindering the implementation of recommendations and reforms.
Mr. Malone brings a wealth of experience to this pivotal role, having served in various capacities within the Virgin Islands government, including Permanent Secretary in the Premier’s Office and Director of the Financial Services Implementation Unit. His expertise in public sector transformation and strategic planning positions him as a key asset in driving sustainable development and institutional reform.
With a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Mr. Malone combines academic acumen with practical experience to navigate the intricate challenges ahead.
