East End Police Station Temporarily Closed Due To Sewerage Works
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has announced the temporary closure of the East End Police Station, effective from Friday, April 19, until further notice.
The closure comes as a result of ongoing sewerage works being conducted by the Government of the Virgin Islands in the parking lot adjacent to the station. These works have adversely impacted the health and well-being of police officers, necessitating the immediate evacuation of the premises.
Despite the closure of the station building, residents of the East End district are assured that law enforcement services will remain fully operational. Officers will continue to patrol the district, ensuring the safety and security of the community. They can be reached at 368-9704 for immediate response to any reports or emergencies.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding during this time,” stated a spokesperson for the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force.
