The British Virgin Islands Cricket Association (BVICA) is set to kick off its T20 Cricket Tournament at Greenland Cricket Field in East End this Sunday, April 14.

This year’s tournament, spanning from April 14 to July 21, promises to showcase the best talent the BVI has to offer under the leadership of newly elected President Neil Hayes.

Zone A of the tournament will see fierce competition among teams such as Cavaliers, Under The Tree, Vincy, Falcons (led by none other than Neil Hayes himself), Police, and Titans. In Zone B, cricket aficionados can expect thrilling matches between Vikings, Royal Knights, Rising Stars, Renegades, and Grenada.

Neil Hayes, who also serves as a fast bowler for the Falcons, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming matches, saying, “I’m really looking forward to cricket restarting on Sunday. Please come down and support all the teams. There’s going to be some incredible skills on display. It’ll be a great time, so please come down and support the cricket.”

But the excitement doesn’t end with cricket alone. Spectators can look forward to live music and food and drinks available for purchase throughout the tournament.

With an entry fee of just $5, the BVICA is ensuring that cricket fans of all ages have the opportunity to witness the action-packed matches firsthand.
