Prepare for an exhilarating culinary adventure at the Taste of Virgin Gorda, the second Food Fete event of the year, spearheaded by the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission.

Set amidst the ruins of Nail Bay Sugar Works in Virgin Gorda National Park, this epicurean extravaganza will take place on Saturday, March 16th, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The event will showcase a curated selection of the island’s renowned restaurants, including Winnie’s Steakhouse, Island Pot, Chez Bamboo, Coco Maya, Jerk Pit, Top of The Baths, Rock Café, MOKA, The Village Café, Lee’s Roadside Bar & Grill and Sugarcane Restaurant. Each establishment will serve sample-sized plates of their signature dishes, allowing patrons to indulge in a variety of flavours that highlight the vibrant culinary scene of Virgin Gorda.

Complementing the culinary delights, an open wine bar will offer attendees the opportunity to sample a wide variety of wines as they savor the flavors of the island.

Tickets for this unforgettable event are priced at $100 per person and include convenient roundtrip ground transportation between the St Thomas Bay Jetty on Virgin Gorda and the Nail Bay Sugar Works. Tickets can be purchased at the BVI Tourist Board’s booths at the BVI Ports Authority Building, St. Thomas Bay Jetty, and the Road Town Jetty. Proceeds raised from the event will support a tourism education grant to benefit deserving students in the territory.

To elevate the evening further, premium entertainment will be provided by saxophonist Issa Alexander, Final Faze, VI Groove Project and DJ Dre.

“Get your tickets while they are still available, as you don’t want to miss out on this extraordinary culinary event,” urged Clive McCoy, Director of Tourism. “Guests will enjoy an evening of culinary excellence and entertainment under the stars while also contributing to the education and future of deserving students.”

For travelers coming from Tortola, a special round trip ferry rate of $25.00 on Speedy’s has been secured with proof of event ticket purchase.
