Concacaf U-20 Championship Qualifiers – BVI Takes On Cuba Today

The British Virgin Islands Under-20 National Team will today take the field for their second match in the Under-20 Championship Qualifiers, facing off against Cuba in Nicaragua.

The February 25 game starts at 6 p.m.

The team’s opening match on February 23 resulted in a loss for the team against Nicaragua, with a scoreline of 8 – 0.

In Group A, the British Virgin Islands is alongside Anguilla and formidable opponents Cuba, Nicaragua and Belize.

Twenty-seven junior national teams will play across five different venues in Central America and the Caribbean.

Countries have been sorted into three groups of five and three groups of four, with the victor of each group progressing to the 2024 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship scheduled to take place later this year.

The Concacaf Under-20 Championship Qualifiers commenced on February 23 and is set to conclude on March 2.
