Noel Groves Identified As The Man Who Died On A Barge
he man who perished in a tank aboard a barge on Saturday, February 17, has been formally identified as Pockwood Pond Resident Noel Groves, 55 years old.
Groves was one of three men who while on the job, reportedly entered a tank aboard a barged at Pockwood Pond and was adversely affect by what is believed to be a chemical of some sort.
Initial reports indicated that Grove was knocked unconscious when he entered the tank. Two of his colleagues who went to his aid suffered the same fate. However, Grove died on the spot while the two others were rushed to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital in a critical condition.
A fourth person was also affected by the chemical and had to be rush to the hospital.
There has been no update on the current conditions of the three others.
