Kyron A. McMaster Clocks 46.45 to Win 400m Hurdles in South Carolina Invitational

World Athletics Championships silver medalist and Commonwealth Games 400m Hurdles Champion, Kyron A. McMaster, kickstarted his 2024 athletics season with a stellar performance at the South Carolina Invitational 2024 over the weekend.

Taking on the 400m race at the Carolina Indoor Track and Field Complex in Columbia on Saturday, February 3, McMaster blazed through the competition, clocking an impressive 46.46 seconds to claim victory.

Following closely behind, Bamadele Ajayi of Lenoir-Rhyne College secured the second spot with a time of 47.70, while Jacob Alexander of South Carolina University clinched third place with a time of 47.86.

McMaster is also the holder of the Virgin Islands National record in the 400m hurdles and a 2-time Diamond League Champion.
