Child Stabbed Multiple Times Disturbing Incident Unfolds at Private School in Tortola

A grade three student was allegedly stabbed multiple times with a pencil in a classroom at a private school on Tortola. A source expressed frustration over the lack of immediate action from school authorities.

The source reported, “The child was allegedly stabbed multiple times in a classroom, no teacher, and even when another student reported it to the principal, no principal checked the child to see if the child was stabbed. The child was crying, but no one took the time to check on the child to see what happened. Instead, they dismissed the severity of the situation, insisting the child was not stabbed without physically checking the child’s body.”

The gravity of the situation became apparent only when the child reached home, and the parents, upon inspecting, discovered multiple stab wounds. The concerned parents promptly reported the matter to the police and the child was subsequently taken for medical attention.

JTV News understands that the victim was repeatedly bullied since entering the school. “There’s multiple stuff happening to the child caused by the “young bully” and not just this specific child, but to other children also. Parents have been fed up with this particular child, who’s been bullying other children in the school.”

Expressing frustration over the school’s apparent inaction, the source remarked, “There’s so much going on in the classroom with that one specific child. That child is troubled, and I do not like to discriminate against other people’s children, but that child needs help, that child needs counseling.”

The concerned source raised a question about the school’s response to the ongoing bullying issue, asserting, “What is the school doing about it? Nothing! This has been happening since grade one before the child even attended school. Grade two is when the child started to go to school, and sometimes when he experiences this bullying, he does not retaliate.”
