The British Virgin Islands Athletic Association (BVIAA) invites enthusiasts and supporters to a once-in-a-lifetime fundraiser on Buck Island, featuring Olympic Gold medalist and President of World Athletics, Lord Sebastian Coe. This event, scheduled for January 13, promises a day filled with sportsmanship, seaside charm, and a chance to engage with a living legend.

Shuttles to Buck Island will operate from Hodge’s Creek between 7:45 am and 8:45 am. Persons are asked to make shuttle bookings in advance.

All ticket holders gain entry into the Aquathon, a thrilling competition comprising individual, non-corporate team, and corporate team categories. Designed by The Aerial BVI Team, the course spans an 800m swim and a 2-mile run, promising both challenge and excitement. Participation is optional, allowing ticket holders the choice to compete or spectate.

Beyond the Aquathon, ticket holders can embark on unique experiences, including visits to the zebras at the redemption ranch and limited-space hotel tours. A casual beachside breakfast will precede an interactive session under the Peace Teepee with the legendary Sebastian Coe.

Tickets for adults are priced at $150, while tickets for children under 5 years cost $50. Tickets for children under 10 years are priced at $75. This inclusive pricing covers a range of exciting features, such as an inspirational beachside chat with Lord Sebastian Coe, entry into the Aquathon (available for both teams and individuals), a delightful beachside breakfast, a visit to the redemption ranch, convenient boat transfers, participation in prize-giving ceremonies, access to the raffle, and additional surprises.

For those unable to attend but eager to support the cause, the BVIAA fundraiser offers alternative avenues. A silent auction and raffle will feature enticing prizes, including limited edition BVI Puma clothing, spa vouchers, polarised sunglasses, BVI – STT ferry tickets, and more.

Supporters can also contribute by gifting tickets for athletes to attend or participate.

To secure your place, reach out to Katrina Lindsay via email at katrina.lindsay@careyolsen.com or WhatsApp at (284) 346-4032. Raffle tickets can be purchased directly from Kat Lindsay via her WhatsApp. Bids for the silent auction can also be confirmed remotely.
