Shaamuoy A. Baronville is the new Deputy Director of the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry.

At age 29, Mr. Baronville boasts a resume crowned with a Master’s Degree in Maritime Administration and Logistics. Throughout his six-year journey to this position, he navigated the intricate waters of the maritime industry, gaining invaluable experience at institutions such as the BVI Port Authority and the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry.

“I am honored to serve as the first Deputy Director of the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry,” Mr. Baronville shared in an exclusive interview. “This role allows me to utilize my maritime skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth of the BVI’s marine industry. My goal is to enhance the department by leveraging technology to streamline processes and systems, providing an improved customer experience and supporting the overall development and success of the department.”
