British Virgin Islands Athletes’ Commission to Host Inaugural Athletes Forum

The British Virgin Islands Athletes’ Commission is set to host the inaugural Athletes Forum, a pivotal event poised at redefining the landscape of athletic inspiration and development.

Scheduled for December 16 from 10 am to 2 pm, the Forum, hosted by Dr. Michael Turnbull, will be held at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex and also accessed globally through the virtual gateway of Zoom.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand from BVI Heroes – Kyron McMaster, an Olympian and World Athletics Silver Medalist; Chantel Malone, an Olympian and PanAmerican Games Gold Medalist; and Kennard Dawson, a Great Britain Euro Championships All-Star in baseball, who have left an indelible mark on the global stage.

Designed as a platform to unite athletes across all levels, from aspiring newcomers to seasoned professionals, the forum offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights and network with the best in the field.

These distinguished athletes will not only share their personal journeys but also divulge the secrets behind their success and impart inspirational stories that transcend the boundaries of sport.

Encompassing a diverse array of sports, from basketball to swimming and gymnastics, the event ensures a wide-ranging appeal to sports enthusiasts of varying interests.
