Three Charged With Assault and Wounding

Detectives of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) arrested and charged J’Loni Martin with assault occasioning actual bodily harm on November 17.

The 22-year-old of Purcell Estate on Tortola was detained at around 3:30 p.m. after police were called to the scene of an altercation.

He was placed on $5,000 station bail and will appear in Magistrate’s Court on January 18, 2024.

St. Clair Percival of Road Town, Tortola was also booked on an assault occasioning actual bodily harm charge.

Police said Percival was arrested on November 1 at around 4:20 pm following an incident.

He was granted  $5,000 station bail and registered to appear in Magistrate’s Court on January 18, 2024.

The third man, Sea Cow’s Bay, Tortola, resident Verne Forbes was charged with unlawful and malicious wounding on November 24.

Officers arrested the 29-year-old at around 4:43 p.m. following a distress call.
