Soft Skills Training Empowers 15 Job Seekers
With the aim of bolstering employability, fifteen job seekers aged between 18 and 30 recently participated in two workshops focused on soft skills training, organised by the Department of Labour and Workforce Development.
The training sessions aimed to equip participants with essential skills for building capacity, enhancing effectiveness, and fostering efficiency in the workplace.
The second workshop, conducted in collaboration with the BVI Tourist Board, specifically targeted the advancement of Tourism and Customer Service Excellence, aligning with the region’s economic priorities.
The list of participants includes Kimberly Mathew, Destiny Frank, K’Neisha Fahie, K’Lsha Fahie, Hasonya John-Lewis, Malachi Peters, Alethea Sophia Caul, D’Nique Daniel, Maliyah Stevens, Armando Richards, Nickelia Drummond, D’Amber Christopher, Janelle Mudho and Reaiah Woodley.
Certificates of completion were presented to the participants by Labour Commissioner Ms. Michelle McLean and Workforce Development Manager Ms. Roxane De Windt-Toussaint.
