Nurse Romalia Smith’s Clinic on Anegada has suspended its operations due to mould infestation in the building, leaving residents without access to their regular medical services for over a week.
Reports reaching JTV are that residents were last week informed that the Health Centre was not accessible and as a result no doctor was available and that persons were instructed to contact the resident nurse in the event of any medical emergencies, with the assurance of a home visit.
Recently, a temporary arrangement was made to relocate the clinic to a private apartment on the island.
