Two Teenagers Booked For Magistrate Court For Driving Without Licences.

A 17-year-old and a 19-year-old were both charged by traffic officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) with driving without a driver’s licence.

A RVIPF statement said the 17-year-old male of Sea Cow’s Bay, Tortola, was arrested and charged on October 9 at around 6:05 p.m. with driving without a driver’s licence. He was granted  $5,000 station bail and was ordered to appear in Magistrate’s Court on November 11.

A few days later, on October 13, Ra-Shaun Penn of East End, also on Tortola, was apprehended around 3:36 p.m. for driving without a driver’s licence, driving an unlicensed vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving without a front identification plate, driving without a rear identification pate and driving without a crash helmet.

Penn is currently on $3,000 station bail and is booked to appear in Magistrate’s Court on November 23.
