Four In Police Custody For Possession Of A Controlled Substance
Officers of the British Virgin Islands Police Force (BVIPF) in late October arrested four men, who are now in custody, in separate search operations for possession of a controlled substance.
A RVIPF statement said on October 28 at around 10:48 a.m. eighteen-year-old Jehkhalibbah Williams was apprehended for unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and unlawful possession of a controlled drug.
The following day, at around 2:23 p.m. officers arrested and charged Aleem Fahie, 28, of Brandywine Bay, Tortola, for unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and unlawful possession of a controlled drug.
The last two men, Keanus Smart, 18 of Free Bottom and Khaleed Francis, 24, of Nottingham Estate, both Tortola addresses, were detained on October 29 at around 9:36 p.m for unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply, unlawful possession of a controlled drug, keeping an unlicensed firearm and unlawful possession of explosives.
