Two Remanded, Including 21-Year Old, For Unlawful Possesion Of A Gun and Explosives

Two men arrested in separate police operations for carrying a firearm without a license and unlawful possession of explosives were remanded to His Majesty’s Prison in Tortola.

A Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) statement released on September 14 stated that around 7 p.m. on September 4, Police arrested and charged twenty-one-year-old Keron Hodge of Purcell Estate, Tortola, with unlawful possession of a prohibited weapon and two counts of unlawful possession of explosives.

Two days later on September 6 at around 7:51 p.m., a Police unit arrested and charged Keshawn Baronville, 30, of Baughers Bay, also on Tortola, with carrying a firearm without a license and three counts of possession of explosives.

They appeared in Magistrate’s Court and were remanded to His Majesty’s Prison.
