Kyron McMaster Concludes Impressive Season at Prefontaine Classic Diamond League on September 16

Kyron McMaster, the World Championships 400-metre hurdles silver medalist, will end an impressive season on September 16 at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon, United States.

The British Virgin Islands track star will be one to watch in the winner-takes-all Diamond League finals.

He goes into the race, which will be broadcast at 12:04 p.m., ranked second, behind World Champion and 2020 Olympic gold medalist Karsten Warholm of Norway and ahead of American Benjamin.

In late August, McMaster ended Warholm’s winning streak with a massive win at the Zurich Diamond League.

The 26-year-old crossed the finish line in 47.27 seconds to take the win, while Warholm clocked 47.30 in second place, ahead of Brazilian Alison Dos Santos who recorded a 47.62 finish.

McMaster is a two-time Commonwealth Games Champ and two-time Diamond League trophy winner.
