RVIPF Launches Investigation into Fatal Shooting at Long Bush

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has initiated an active investigation into a shooting incident that occurred last night at Long Bush, resulting in the tragic death of a male individual. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Azim Yonnas, a resident of Butu Mountain.

According to preliminary information, Yonnas was shot by unidentified assailant(s) who quickly fled the scene. Emergency services were immediately dispatched, and the victim was swiftly transported to Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital. Despite medical efforts, Yonnas succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
