Stolen Boat Recovered: Live Ammunition Discovered at the Scene
Quick response by officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) led to the recovery of a stolen boat and a quantity of live rounds of ammunition.
In an interview with JTV, RVIPF confirmed that the Apache boat, which is now in police custody, was reported missing on August 12.
“The RVIPF can confirm a report received on August 12 of a missing boat. The boat has since been found and is in police possession.”
RVIPF did not give details on the location the boat was found, if anyone was arrested, or the quantity and calibre of ammunition found at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
