The BVI’s Junior National Squash Team is in St Vincent and the Grenadines, ready to compete in the Junior Caribbean Squash Championships from July 15th to July 22nd.

Leading the charge is a talented lineup consisting of Darci Reich, Oliver Henderson, Danny Henderson, Zevieh Abraham, Ethan Mohamed, Jakob Noblett, Delilah Pease, Zivon Abraham, and Zane Pretlove. The team was initially set to include Joshua Noblett, but an unfortunate knee injury prevented his participation.

Guiding the team towards victory is National Coach, Adam Murrills, whose experience and expertise have proven invaluable in shaping the players’ skills and strategies. Assisting him is Luca Reich, serving as the Assistant Coach.

The first three days of the championships will be dedicated to the Individual Tournament, where players will go head-to-head in fierce matches, showcasing their individual skills and vying for top honours. Following the Individual Tournament, two days will be allocated for the Doubles Competition, where players will team up and strategize to outmaneuver their opponents in exhilarating doubles matches.

The remaining days of the championships will be devoted to the highly anticipated Team Event. This is where the BVI’s Junior National Squash Team will unite, representing their country as a cohesive unit, and compete against other talented teams from across the Caribbean.

Coach Murrills expressed his confidence in the team, stating, “Our players have been gearing up for this for a long time, and we can’t wait to hopefully build on the positive results achieved at last year’s event!”
