Second LA Lakers Victory – D’Moi Hodge hits 16 points

The Los Angeles Lakers continued their winning streak in the NBA Summer League with a commanding victory over the Charlotte Hornets, securing their second consecutive win with a final score of 93-75.

The Lakers’ Point Guard, D’Moi Hodge, put on an impressive performance, contributing 16 points to his team’s dominant tally.  He proved to be a valuable asset on the court, finishing as the team’s second leading scorer behind Centre Colin Castleton who scored 21 points.

Hodge, who has earned a spot in the Lakers’ starting lineup was explosive on both ends of the court. In addition to his scoring prowess, Hodge showcased his versatility by grabbing five rebounds and making key defensive plays, including two blocks and a steal.

From the opening minutes of the game, the Lakers executed their game plan flawlessly, using their strong defense to stifle the Hornets’ offensive efforts and create turnovers. Taking advantage of these opportunities, the Lakers excelled in transition, pushing the pace and capitalizing on fast-break points.
