San Antonio Defeats LA Lakers – D’Moi Puts Eight Points On The Board

Los Angeles Lakers tonight lost 99 – 109 to San Antonio Spurs in their second match in the California Classic Summer League 2023 with British Virgin Islander guard D’Moi Hodge putting eight points on the board.

Hodge played for a total of eighteen minutes and twenty-seven (18:27) seconds in the July 5 game which was held in the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

His debut game was on July 3 against Miami. He scored seven points against a dominant Heat who claimed a 90 – 107 victory.

Last month, Hodge signed a two-way contract with the LA Lakers.

The former Missouri Tiger player received well wishes from British Virgin Islanders living across the globe.

Hodge made the roster to play in both the California Classic and NBA 2K24 Summer League.

LA Lakers are set to open the NBA 2K24 Summer League in Las Vegas against the Golden State Warriors on July 7 at the Thomas and Mack Centre.

Followed by three additional games at the same venue versus the Hornets on July 9, Celtics on July 12, and Grizzlies on July 14.
