Premier Natalio Wheatley Celebrates Caricom 50th Anniversary With Regional Leaders
British Virgin Islands Premier Dr. Natalio Wheatley shares the territory’s visions for regional stability at the 45th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) this week in Trinidad and Tobago.
The conference marked the 50th Anniversary of Caricom which was established on 4 July 1973 to deepen regional integration.
This year, the region celebrates 50 years since the signing of the Treaty of Chaguaramas, and the accomplishments of the oldest surviving integration movement in the developing world.
